After working for more than 40 years in the Seattle area as a blacksmith,machinist, and inspector, I retired and relocated to Kennewick. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and using machinery to make whatever might be needed. It was a natural progression to start turning  wood. What a pleasure it is to shape form and finish a natural material that has so many variations in color, grain, and texture. Most of my works are simple shapes with an emphasis on the finish. My intent is to make the piece feel as good as it looks. To make a bowl, an art project, or a simple toy for a child, the possibilities are endless!
