I spent most of my youth in Summerville, South Carolina, but seem to have lived in the Tri-City area of Washington State longer than those original years. Before settling down in Richland, my military husband, family and I moved to numerous locations around the country including a two year stent in Hawaii. My husband and I now spend most of our summers in Maine and visiting family located all over the east coast. After retiring from teaching I have taken up hobbies that include painting and crafts. I enjoy the peacefulness of working on a canvas, creating something new that makes me happy. At present most of my art pieces are either acrylic, alcohol ink, (some) watercolor, and mixed media. Love them all, and am always ready to try something new.
